What's Happening at the High School

Principal’s Message

Mr. Haruthunian Mr. Eric Haruthunian
Central Islip High School

As we approach the final stretch of the academic year, it's essential to reflect on how fast time passes.  In the waning few weeks of school,  please keep focus on your academic and extracurricular goals.  The significance of the fourth quarter isn't just about finishing strong; it's an opportunity for growth, reflection, and accomplishment.  Use every opportunity to showcase all the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the year. It's a time to apply what you've learned in practical ways, whether through projects, presentations, or exams.  Ending the year on a high note creates momentum that can carry over into the next academic year.

To make the most of the last few weeks of the school year:

1.     Remain actively involved in your studies and extracurricular activities.

2.     Use time management techniques to balance academics, extracurriculars, and personal commitments effectively.

3.     Don't hesitate to reach out to teachers, counselors, or peers for assistance or guidance when needed.

4.     Prioritize self-care and wellness to ensure you're physically, mentally, and emotionally prepared to tackle the challenges ahead.

We wish all of our students and families a happy and healthy end to the academic year.
