Central Islip High School proudly announces the approval of the Early College Program through Suffolk County Community College (SCCC). 

SCCC is prepared to accept applications from Central Islip students for the program for the 2023-24 school year.  Through this program our students (current sophomore and juniors) will be able to earn valuable college credit at a modest cost ($57/credit) as well as gain experience taking classes in a college setting (classes are also offered online). Students must have an 85 unweighted GPA and have scored an 85 or better on one high school regents exam. Students must also qualify for a college level placement in reading, English and math. Please see your guidance counselor for eligibility questions and applications.

Financial Aid Walk Through- January 10, 2024 at 6pm in the high school library.

-Students will be able to complete the FAFSA/TAP applications with the help of the high school guidance counselors.


-Students and parents both need to create an FSA ID
here, prior to January 10th.

-Students/parents should also bring a copy of their 2022 taxes to verify tax filing status and to complete the NYS TAP application
